In 650 words, you have the chance to tie your skills and accomplishments together to bring your story to life for the college admissions committee. Whether you need a jump start for your essays or just some final tune-ups, our tutors can help every step of the way.

Standardized Test Preparation

— Shawn K.

As veterans of the college application process, our tutors have an intimate knowledge of how to succeed on both the SAT and ACT. On average, our tutors have scored 1550 on the SAT, and 35 on the ACT. We also acknowledge that, beyond having achieved high test scores, our tutors must know how to effectively teach the material to help others master the exam. Accordingly, we screen applicants for well-developed interpersonal skills as well as test credentials. The result: our tutors are both knowledgeable and personable and strive to connect individually with their students.

Based on your individual needs and availability, we personally match you with one of our experienced tutors, all of whom are current Cornell students. We then tailor our comprehensive program to your specific needs. To start, you complete a diagnostic test allowing our expert tutors to identify your strengths and weaknesses. From there, we work with you to set goals and develop a personalized tutoring plan.

By the end, our hope is that you not only improve your scores significantly, but also gain a close mentor who will offer their experiences to help you transition into a new chapter of your life.
